Tricare provides insurance for active duty and retired military and their dependents. Effective September 1, 2010, Tricare contracted with International SOS (ISOS) to manage care for all Tricare recipients who live overseas. For example, if a family is living in Germany wants to access health care within Germany or any other European country, ISOS will manage that care. Or if a family in Japan wants to access health care in the USA, ISOS will manage that care. For detail, please contact ISOS at cesar.sanchez@internationalsos.com.
Effective January 1, 2011, Blue Cross Federal†has changed†coverage for residential treatment. If a family with Blue Cross Federal wants their child treated in a residential treatment center, the family must initiate Intensive Case Management. If Blue Cross Federal Intensive Case Management determines that residential treatment is medically necessary, then Blue Cross Federal will flex benefits to cover residential treatment. For detail, please contact your Blue Cross Federal Health Plan.
In Texas, the Scott and White Health Plan (SWHP)†may cover residential treatment. If the SWHP Medical Director determines that residential treatment is medically necessary, then SWHP will flex benefits to cover residential treatment. For detail, please contact your SWHP.
Texas Medicaid does not cover residential treatment. Meridell is not a provider for any Texas Medicaid managed care organizations.
